Kaashi Yatra:

It is a joyful act in most Hindu weddings. Here, the groom will make fun of the gathering by packing his things and moving to Kaashi claiming that the place deserves his service and he is going to attain moksha with permanent bachelor ship. Wedding day:

Ganesha Pooja – After the groom’s family reaches the wedding venue, they will start a pooja for Lord Ganesha asking him to bless them to complete all the traditions and proceedings without obstacles. 

Kanyadanam – It is the actual wedding event. At first, the bride’s father will wash the groom’s feet and ask him to sit on the stage. Once the bride accompanies the groom, he will tie a Mangalsutra around her neck.
